Fixing the damage
Hallgrímskirkja church, at 74.5 metres (244 ft), it is the fourth tallest architectural structure in Iceland.
The church is now undergoing a major repair. It was so badly damaged, that there was a real threat of concrete braking off and falling to the ground. After initial examination of the church´s damage, it was clear the damage was more than expected.
This, in a way, reflects the current financial crisis in Iceland, lets hope the government can fix it before everything tumbles to the ground.
